40 guests, a client in the Building Merchants sector
3 nights, September 2016
Staying at the Sofitel Imperial Palace, a lavish 5* hotel set in the middle of luxurious gardens of palm and bougainvillea trees, a welcome dinner was enjoyed at the hotel. Day 2: A day in the souks (markets) with a fun Apprentice-style challenge (where guests had to find a range of items in a set amount of time). After lunch, guests were free to spend the afternoon at leisure. The third day was an inspirational day in The Atlas Mountains, which included a 4-wheel drive tour through a traditional Berber village, a taste of locally-sourced tea, a school visit, and lunch at The Kasbah Tamadot (Richard Branson’s favourite Moroccan retreat). An impressive Gala Dinner was held in the palm groves to give the guests an authentic Moroccan experience with traditional entertainment and local delicacies.
Having arranged numerous incentive trips and reward promotions for the client, they were confident that our team wouldn’t disappoint on this occasion – and after hearing the feedback, it’s fair to say that we didn’t!
Guests commented they liked the “mix of city and mountain” sightseeing, as well as the amazing food and the fact that the destination was somewhere they wouldn’t have necessarily chosen to go themselves.
