A 1-day national conference (the first of its kind that the client had ever hosted). The conference and exhibition were held at The Concorde Conference Centre (a purpose-built hanger that is home to the iconic G-BOAC British Airways Concorde). The Key aspects of the day included speeches from senior management, updates on key projects and targets, break-out sessions with suppliers, and an exhibition area. For this latter part of the event, colleagues from the business’ functional support teams manned stands, giving mangers the chance to meet them (and improve business-wide communications). The day’s events concluded with a private dinner at The Manchester Monastery, with a surprise awards ceremony to celebrate everyone’s successes from the past year.
Impressing the client with a trip to Dubrovnik in 2018, the client was keen for the Incentivise team to plan this standalone event – and they weren’t disappointed, commenting that they were “really happy” and that the event “worked really well for our staff”.
On the client’s own blog, they stated that: “The conference was a fantastic opportunity to have all of our managers together for the first time… it was hugely gratifying to see so many of my colleagues meeting for the first time at the national conference, building new bridges and sharing best practice”.
